Welcome to Middle School at Colegio Bolívar. This is a pivotal stage in the lives of young people, where they explore their interests, discover who they are, and learn in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
With a team of highly qualified national and international teachers, we provide a bilingual setting that fosters both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. Students are always at the center of the learning process, and their voices, ideas, and experiences truly matter.
Families, counselors, and teachers work together to help each student grow with confidence, live by our shared values, and prepare for the challenges of high school and beyond.
In Middle School (Grades 6 to 8), we offer a bilingual, international education that prepares students to earn both the Colombian Bachillerato and the U.S. High School diploma. With a maximum of 22 students per class and a focus on academic, social, and emotional development, we ensure a personalized learning experience.
Our curriculum includes core subjects in English and Spanish, along with a wide range of electives such as art, robotics, video production, Model United Nations, artificial intelligence, and video game design. With a dynamic schedule and rotating classes, students enjoy interactive learning, extracurricular activities, and a vibrant community that fosters excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
Here, every student finds the space to grow, explore their talents, and prepare for the challenges of the future in a welcoming and motivating environment.
In Middle School, we support students in their personal and social growth, providing them with tools to manage emotions, strengthen leadership, and make autonomous decisions.
Through Conscious Discipline, workshops, retreats, field trips, and programs such as community service and Model United Nations, we foster reflection, self-regulation, teamwork, and social awareness. Families and teachers are also engaged in this formative process.
In an environment that values diversity and belonging, students are prepared to become responsible leaders, with opportunities for recognition through the National Junior Honor Society.
