Our

Curriculum Model

The concept of curriculum at Colegio Bolívar includes the following elements, inspired by the work of B. Betts (Principals’ Training Center):

  • The Who: The student – student and graduate profile.
  • The Why: The institutional philosophy – mission, vision, values, principles, and goals.
  • The What: Standards and indicators – concepts, skills, and dispositions addressed in each course.
  • The How: Pedagogical practices – aligned with the principles of Deeper Learning.
  • The Yes or No: Assessment – aligned with the principles of Standards-Based Assessment.

How is technology integrated?

At Colegio Bolívar, technology enhances student-centered learning by fostering innovation, personalization, and collaboration. From tablets in Early Childhood to robotics and 3D printing projects in Secondary, technology is integrated progressively and appropriately at each stage to prepare students for the challenges of the digital era.

How is support provided to students at different levels?

EColegio Bolívar offers a Multi-Tiered System of Support to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all students. Through personalized interventions and the joint work of the Learning and Counseling Departments, every student receives the guidance and resources needed to reach their full potential.
