From 18 months
Children who turn 2 during the school year.
In Nido 1, children seek to understand the world through all their senses. They take their first steps beyond home to discover a universe of colors, shapes, and textures. Their curiosity and sense of wonder invite them to explore, name what they find, and connect with others—opening the door to their first social adventures.
Ratio of 5 children per adult.
Children who turn three during the school year.
In Nido 2, children explore the world with new questions, blossoming words, and emerging friendships. They begin to use language to share feelings, emotions and ideas, while numbers and stories gain new meaning. Their fine motor skills strengthen and become more coordinated, with gentle, guided support.
Ratio: 6 children, 1 adult.
Children who turn four during the school year.
In Nido 3, , children continue to explore the world as friendships deepen and play becomes a space for shared ideas and imagination. They strengthen their cognitive and social abilities, refine both fine and gross motor skills, and begin to engage with numbers, letters, and symbols that help them make sense of their surroundings.

I am a former student of Colegio Bolívar, Class of ’98. I am a specialist in pedagogy and child development (0-6 years) and have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Supervision, which has allowed me, together with a great team of educators, to create a very special place for the youngest children at the school, where wonder, discovery, and exploration become the cornerstones of Deeper Learning.
In this space, pedagogical innovation is integrated into everyday life, giving meaning and emotional value to every moment of the day. As a family, we invite you to join us on this adventure and enjoy together the stories that are born every day at El Nido.
At El Nido, we have a team of educators who are joyful, committed, and deeply engaged with the culture of childhood. They are teachers who believe in each child’s potential, respect individual rhythms, and see play, imagination, and creativity as essential paths for learning and growth.
We also have an interdisciplinary team that supports children’s holistic development through movement, language, music, and counseling. We understand that entering early childhood is a time filled with wonder and transition; that’s why our counseling team provides caring and consistent emotional support to both children and families, fostering well-being and a strong sense of belonging.
