Team

Robin Perskie

Principal

With more than 30 years of experience in education, Robin Perskie combines her strong academic background—a Master’s degree in Reading and Writing (Plymouth State University) and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature (Indiana University)—with a deep passion for meaningful learning and community building.

She joined Colegio Bolívar 18 years ago and has become a valued leader known for her dedication and approachability. For the past 11 years, she has led the Elementary School, guiding with enthusiasm and commitment a project that brings together students, families, and teachers around a shared mission: to grow and learn together.

Instructional Staff:

  • 2 counselors
  • 19 homeroom teachers
  • 4 Spanish/Social Studies teachers
  • 6 full-time special area teachers (Art, Project Learning Studio, ICT, Music, and two for P.E.)
  • 5 teaching assistants (two in 2nd grade, two in 3rd grade, and one for the Science Lab)
  • 3 part-time teachers (Religion, Mindfulness, and Dance), and 1 librarian.

1 NES teacher (New English Speakers), 6 Learning Support teachers, 1 Enrichment teacher (shared with Early Childhood).

Activities

Our program includes activities for all ages, allowing our students to learn in a fun way, develop their creativity, and encouraging them to participate in outdoor physical activities. It also gives them the opportunity to use their free time to explore their interests beyond academics.
