A professional with extensive experience in the field of education and pedagogy, Dr. Nagy was born in Ohio, United States, in 1957. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He also holds a Master’s in Education from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Sarasota, Florida. In addition, he has gained valuable experience working at several prestigious schools in Colombia. Since 2003, he has served as Headmaster of Colegio Bolívar, where he has not only preserved the legacy of his predecessors but also implemented strategies aimed at the continuous improvement of an institution considered one of the best in the region and the country.
In 2024, Dr. Nagy was selected as the recipient of the Paul G. Orr Award 2024, an honor granted by the Tri-Association since 1987 to leaders in pedagogy who have made outstanding contributions to education in the region.
